Don’t hate – I’ve had my February Ipsy bag for days! I’ve felt so terrible I really truly only opened it last night! I loved this month, it’s perfect and one of my favorite Ipsy bags in a while. I was considering quitting Ipsy (I haven’t really loved my bags since November) until I got this bag! (Who am I kidding, I can’t quit – even if I just gift the items inside it’s totally worth ten bucks a month!). The February theme is “The Look of Love” and I totally did fall in love with everything at first sight!

February 2014 Ipsy Glam Bag – The Look of Love
This month Ipsy managed to actually stick everything in the bag, which was super basic (and pink) for February.
I was totally impressed when I opened my bag – I paid $10 and got a totally new look including a face mask, nail polish, lip gloss, shadow, and falsies! Of the lash kind of course!
skyn ICELAND Fresh Start Mask with Ice Age Mud ($6.50) An in-depth weekly detox, anti-dullness and anti-aging ritual. It says it effervesces into a warming foam! I think I’m going to hold off on this one until my face isn’t raw from having a cold! I will need it!
J. Cat Beauty Eyelashes + Eyelash Glue ($4) I am not sure when I would ever use these, but I’m a lot more likely to try them having received them, because I’d never buy them. My husband might get a kick out of them? Or he would be totally freaked out.
Tini Beauty Eyetini Cordial Cream Shadow + Base in One – Violette ($18) This is a super fun liquid shadow and I’m thinking it’s going to layer beautifully with my new Julep shadow!
Pop Beauty Plump Pout Mini – Fuchsia Freesia ($7.53) This is perfect. Absolutely perfect. I love the color (brighter than it looks here), the texture, everything. This is a mini and I may have to hunt down another after I use this up.
Zoya Nail Polish – Dot ($9) Full-coverage pink petal cream (originally created for fashion designer Zang Toi’s SS14 Collection). Hold me back, what. An actual current color? In a non-polish subscription box? I love this nude/neutral pink and my daughter’s eyes lit up when she saw it. We need more polish storage!
My February Ipsy bag had over $38 in value and besides the eyelashes, I’ll know I will totally use everything. I’ll be silly and fun and attempt these lashes before trying more expensive lashes. What an incredible value. Love it.

I love ipsy! For the March 2014 Glam Bag I received the bareminerals lipstick, the bora bora eyeshadow quad, the chella blue eye liner, and the vita liberata luxury tan. I absolutely love getting new makeup every month! The website itself is a lot of fun, and so is following ipsy on Facebook, there is a strong sense of community with other women that are also interested in makeup.

I haven’t peeked to see what I’m getting this month. I’m out of town and I think mine will likely be at my house when I get home. So, I’m going to try to hold out and not look at what I’m getting lol. I know the lipgloss if I got it will be traded. I love the colors and I want to try that brand but me and plumping glosses tend to not get along. That mild allergic reaction they intentionally trigger to plump lips makes my whole face break out in hives. Lol.
This didn’t have anything like that in there I don’t think. I don’t like tingly glosses at all. Or anything with mint on my face/lips.
