Gwynnie Bee is a clothing rental subscription service for sizes 10-32. That means it starts at Medium and goes up to a  5X, though most sizes are for L or XL-2X or 3X. If you have been frustrated by other clothing subscriptions because of size issues, give this one a shot. You can try Gwynnie Bee for an entire month for only $10!

How it works: Check out the Gwynnie Bee items, pick the clothes you’re interested in, put them in your Gwynnie Bee closet, and they’ll send you your items (it works just like old school Netflix!). When you’re done, return them in the mailer bag and get new ones. You can also purchase the clothing in your closet. You can filter all your selections by style, size, color, etc. I particularly love the Style Advisor – it will tell you clothing you may be interested in “closeting” .

My latest box had just one item (because it was a sweater dress) – the Lima Cable Knit Sweater Dress in Royal Blue.IMG_9634

I loved the GIANT cowl neck on this dress. And the color was gorgeous.  I loved mixing up my wardrobe with this one although it was pretty long on me. However, it’s not getting above freezing for another week, so I didn’t mind so much.

I could have kept this one for $39.50 (you can purchase must-have items without sending them back). I returned this one but I was pleased with the style! It’s a great idea to have access to so many styles for one price a month. You just get them, wear them, and return! You don’t even have to wash it!! (You can, just follow the special GB care tag attached, but GB will wash it for you on its return!)

Currently when you sign up for Gwynnie Bee you can get your first month for $10, which is an awesome way to just try it out and see if you love it. You can keep the clothes in your closet as long as you want and when you want new ones, just send them back in!

I love Gwynnie Bee in theory, in reality it’s really expensive. paying $80/month to get 3 items at a time, then you can buy them at “discounted” prices. The discounted prices are not that low, I’m wearing a cardigan sweater from GB now and to keep it, it’s $51. Which is outrageous to me for used clothing, this is my 3rd month with GB, the shipping is a little slower than I’d like and I wish you could put your closet in order of items you want most. I’ve had tons of items I closeted 3 months ago and have yet to get.
