We got our March Conscious Box!

I am so excited because this is our first one! Conscious Box is an eco-centric box available in regular, vegan, and gluten-free styles. Try code GRATITUDE for 50% off a subscription or FREEBOX to get a box for $1. (And let me know if they don’t work)

The box within a box is somewhat weird, but allows an easy gifting opportunity.

We love getting postcards to send to dad!

This box doesn’t come with an information card, only a quote from Winnie the Pooh. It would have been helpful for the last item (below).

What’s in our March Conscious Box

There’s a lot packed in to Conscious Box. Bear with me.

This box is super duper jam-packed. Seriously I had to take pictures of groups of things.

Two Degrees bars – 2 flavors and Oldeman Granola

Zarbee’s Natural Cough Syrup. We use this and I am using this for travel.

SmartyPants Vitamins for Adults & Kids. I was disappointed on how much sugar these contained. The adult’s pack had 50 calories and it’s basically all sugar.

MotherLove Diaper Rash & Thrush. Don’t be turned off by this. It’s a healing balm and super useful to keep in your bag for scrapes.

Chef Sleeve iPhone sleeves. I have the filthiest phone in the world because E keeps stealing it to play Mr. Potato Head. Now I can protect it from his grime-applicators.IMG 5312

Whoops!IMG 5314

AgroLabsWheatgrass Boost, Stash Tea Organic Very Berry Herbal Tea, and Nektar Honey Crystals. Nice beverage selection.IMG 5307

This next and last item is possibly the most bizarre thing I’ve ever received in a subscription box.

Tgrtea

I think it’s some kind of tea. I don’t know. TGR-T (tiger tea). It came wrapped up in a folded paper towel. I don’t think I would drink this.

Will this make me virile like a tiger?

The Conscious Box site has way more information:

Pure Living Paradise Vanilla Chaga TGRT Raw Tea is more than just a tea. Made with Chaga, a fungus known for its adaptogenic properties, each cup contains the potent enzyme super oxide dismutase, which is thought to protect DNA and promote youthening. Brew up a cup or add to the tub for a skin tonifying and detoxifying bath!

Crafted with raw vanilla organically grown in Madagascar and wild harvested Vermont Chaga, Vanilla Chaga TGRT is a mild yet full-bodied blend that makes for a stimulating tea perfect for both consumption and even bathing (seriously!). One teaspoon make several cups, making this a potent and powerful choice for the tea collection.

Ooookay. My husband is from Vermont, therefore he will be required to drink this tea. He could use some youthening.

So, there you have it!

Should you Splurge?

Yes, it’s fun to get weird stuff. In all seriousness I got a lot of stuff in Conscious Box, items I hadn’t seen before, and nothing was too crazy except for that tea. If anyone uses it, let me know what you thought!! I thought pretty much everything would be useful and fun to try (yes, even the tea) and felt this box was very high value for the price I paid. Good deal!
