Mother Goose Time is a professionally designed preschool “curriculum in a box.”  You can read more about it in the directory.

Also a heads up on an extension activity (well, a movie!). Next month DisneyNature is releasing Wings of Life. It’s a documentary narrated by Meryl Streep on  bees, butterflies, birds, and bats. I plan to rent from Netflix or the library! My daughter has been totally fascinated by the bees portion of this month (she sat and watched a documentary on queen bees for half an hour earlier this week) and I expect butterflies to be the same!

Just a few snaps from the month. A has been telling me all about the development of bees and butterflies. Just this afternoon she described the chrysalis.  E, who has an expressive speech delay, chose “cocoon” as one of his words. REALLY USEFUL THERE E! Let’s work on something like “milk.”

I love the happy face on the butterfly. My four year old did this one nearly entirely by herself!
