I am a little confused because apparently NatureBox has an Easter box you can order and I never got an email about it. Weird. It’s 24.95 and its says you can “Fill your baskets with 7 different full-size snack bags – Yogurt Pretzels, Blueberry Almond Bites, Sunshine Chips, Whole Wheat Figgy Bars, Wild Berry Bunch, Cashew Power Clusters, and more.” No membership required!

Naturebox is changing its packaging. A little bit more upscale and glossy. I like it! You can see the older style packages below.

I have to dole these out. E is wild about them!

sunshine chips: sweet potatoes, squash, carrots, taro, and green beans. nice & crunchy, unseasoned.

toasted cheddar stix – these are cheese-flavored sesame squiggles. very nice flavor and well-liked by my kids.
IMG_5132
honey mesquite almonds – the flavoring isn’t overbearing and it’s very good. my children enjoyed these a LOT.
IMG_5131
roasted kettle kernels – salty sweet taste, just like kettle corn!
IMG_5137
granny smith apples – i really liked how thin these were. they aren’t chewy, which is a plus for little kids. a huge plus. my son is addicted to them.

What we liked about this box

There’s a lot to like about this box.

  • Very interesting and unique flavors.
  • Each snack has a different texture and flavor profile.
  • Everything is pretty much all natural.
  • Great stockup box and discovery box with five different flavors.
  • The flavors are great. I think the flavoring is what Naturebox does best!
  • Non-GMO ingredients clearly labeled (but not everything is non-GMO)
  • Nutritional information is right on each package.
  • 21 servings in the box (compared to the promised 15-20). They are small servings, but these are calorie-dense foods.
  • Expiration dates of June or later.
  • My kids truly enjoy the Naturebox snacks and keep going back for them.

What we didn’t like about this box

  • I kinda wish the Sunshine Chips had a little flavoring on them because I think Naturebox’s flavors are so great. That being said, it’s nice to not have an overload.
  • Once again, I’m not sure about the date on this box. We just got it but it doesn’t match up with the February box information on their site. My January box seemed like it matched up with January and definitely not February. It’s kinda confusing but I don’t know if I care if we like the snacks.

Should you Splurge?

I think this is a good value interesting stock-up box (despite the discovery box moniker, it is a stock up box! You get a TON of snacks!). All the items in this box were fantastic and well like and I think NatureBox is priced well. Some of the snacks are items that I’ve never seen in a grocery store, so I can’t really compare prices. While the price is good, the Family Snacker (10 bags for $29.95) would be a really excellent value. My NatureBox account says that they are currently testing the option to personalize your box. I would be interested in a larger box less frequently, especially as these snacks have a longer shelf life than some of the other snack boxes. I recommend giving it a try! You can sign up at Naturebox using my link and save $5. Use code HEALTHY (although try FB50 to see if that half off deal still works).

If I were me (and I am), I would subscribe to this box!
