October’s Kiwi Crate, Glowing Animals, was a great big hit! How could it not be with glow in the dark stuff? Am I right? I’m right! We are such fans and my daughter freaks out whenever she sees the Kiwi Crate box.  If you like Kiwi Crate, you should also check out Appleseed Lane, which I currently have a giveaway for! I don’t normally say go look at this box, but I am today. Mmmmkay?

October 2013 Kiwi Crate Glowing Animals

Glowing Animals The two main crafts in the box.

The back of the sheet has a color & cut activity and the month’s sticker. My daughter loves putting the sticker on her chart. We always do it first though.

Magazine The magazine is a hit, but the last craft (always a cutting activity), my daughter seems to bork. She gets really excited and does it without my help. Oh well.

My racing Jellyfish This one was soooo much fun, and easy too. We enjoyed putting them together! Hint with stickers: I stick them on the back of the kids hands so they can take them off and stick them on their crafts.

You pull on the strings to race them!

They really glow!

My Glowworm Friend I left this craft for the sitter to do with my daughter (my son prefers to just play with toys when it comes to the more involved crafts). It was a hit!

She’s so proud of her glowworm. Her name is Anna.

Loved this box, and the magazine has several more crafts inside for us to do, plus lots of activties and stories. Between the 2 crafts and the magazine, I think Kiwi Crate is a great value and my kids truly enjoy it. It’s sort of a YMMV as to whether you’ll need a sibling pack. We have so much going on that I never purchase them. It all works out in the end. I hope!
