PakuBox sent me this subscription box for my review.

I’m sorry to say that PakuBox is no more! This subscription startup is transitioning to “TakoKen,” a Japanese lifestyle company with limited boxes! Hooray! I’m hoping that they include non-food products because we ate half this box immediately (imagine us rolling around, because we are!). I don’t really know all the details of the new company but I’m excited by the new direction and can’t wait to see it in January!

I loved the paper cranes! These were played with extensively until they took a bath 🙂

Green Tea Pocky & Almond Crunch Pocky My kids are wild about this Japanese treat. They ate all of it in two days flat. I tried them – they were very good. My husband would’ve liked to try the white chocolate matcha flavor but the kids stole them today while the babysitter was here.

Latte Chocolate Biscuits Well, I ate one, guessing that it probably had coffee in it. Not only am I not a coffee drinker, I hate the taste of it too (yes, I know it’s unusual). Saved these for husband. Both packages.

Coffee-Covered Chews The package on these actually used the word coffee, so I skipped them. Obviously I’m not giving coffee to my 2 maniacs.

Fruit Hard Candy These were a big hit! We ate all of them! They’re lemon, apple, grape, and moscato flavored and were delicious.

It doesn’t look like they’re having fun, but they were. They were just focused on the goods!

This was a fun box, but because it was so coffee-centric, we didn’t really get to all the items. Everything else was promptly consumed and enjoyed! I would really love to see more fun “stuff” from Japan so I’m looking forward to seeing what they have in store for TakoKen!
